Sara Farrar

Sara Farrar was born in Charlotte and raised on her family's homestead near Crowder’s Mountain here in Gaston County. She is an Appalachian State University graduate and majored in Building Science with a focus on Architecture Design and Technology.

Sara found her calling in construction and has an engineer's mind like her father. Sara has been building for over 12 years. She started in custom residential construction in the high country of Boone, NC, where she managed projects of $5M+ with an elite attention to detail. Once moving back to Gastonia, Sara was recruited as the Construction Director for Gaston County Habitat for Humanity. Sara set a record for completed houses during her tenure there. After leaving HFH to be at home with her firstborn, Sara was recruited to Lennar where she worked her way to Senior Leadership in this region as an Area Manager, one of only 4 in this region.

Sara brings her vast knowledge of residential construction and expertise to the Oak & Willow brand. She has an unwavering commitment to excellence and quality. Sara and her husband and co-owner Caleb Farrar also reside in Gardner Woods in Gastonia.
